Identified as the (Inch) S78ESY-... series and (Metric) S78ESYM... series, they come in both inch and metric sizes, with a wide range of ODs, lengths and spring rates to ensure that your exact requirements are met. They are well suited for use in anti-backlash gears, as well as all types of instrumentation applications. The constant resisting force prevents imprecise placement of indexes.

The springs are made of spring tempered 302 stainless steel, which makes them very corrosion resistant. They also have a uniform body diameter, which is important in applications with space restrictions. We also supply spring posts for mounting the springs.
