A new series of inch linear ball bearings utilizing endless recirculating balls are available from Sterling Instrument (An ISO 9001:2000+AS9100B Manufacturer) in standard and heavy-duty types and in open, closed and adjustable styles. Identified as the S99L series, they feature a low- friction coefficient, high positioning accuracy, high load capacity, quiet movement and long travel life.

They are stocked in bore sizes ranging from .375" to 1.500" with dynamic load capacities of 52 lbf. to 663 lbf. and static load capacities of 72 lbf. to 1214 lbf. The sleeves and balls are made of AISI 52100 Steel and have been hardened to RC 60-64. Overall lengths range from .875" to 3" and O.D's. range from .625" to 2.375". As an option, bearing wipers are available for both ends.
